EasyDBS adopted the e-bulk system because it eliminated the need for paper forms and offered users a quicker, simpler system. When DBS Check applications are submitted through EasyDBS, they are sent to the DBS within minutes, significantly speeding up the turnaround time.
Are EasyDBS really the Fastest DBS Check Provider?

How much does a DBS Check cost?
When you get a DBS Check for Employers through an Umbrella Body, the final cost usually consists of two parts:
1. The Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Fee
This is a fixed fee set by the DBS itself, and it’s charged per application. The rate remains the same whether you’re processing one check or thousands per year.
Basic DBS Check: £21.50
Standard DBS Check: £21.50
Enhanced DBS Check: £49.50
Enhanced DBS Check with Adults’ and/or Children’s Barred List Check: £49.50
2. The Umbrella Body’s Admin Fee
This is the administrative charge from the Umbrella Body for handling your application. These fees can sometimes vary based on the volume of applications you submit. At EasyDBS, for example, our admin fees start from £4.00 per application.
What are the levels of DBS Check available?
There are three primary levels of DBS checks for Employers available: Basic, Standard, and Enhanced. Employers should carefully evaluate the specific duties and responsibilities of a role to determine the appropriate level of check needed. This helps ensure a safe and secure environment for both their workplace and all stakeholders involved.
How long does a DBS Check take?
Most DBS Checks for Employers are completed within 48 hours, although the exact timeframe can vary depending on the type of check. Basic level DBS checks are typically very fast, often returning results within a few hours. Standard DBS Checks rarely exceed 5 working days, with the majority being completed within 24-48 hours. Enhanced Checks, which involve checks with Local Police Forces, can sometimes be very quick, even returning on the same day, but on average, they take longer than both Standard and Basic DBS Checks. The vast majority of Enhanced Checks are completed within 10 working days.
What does a DBS Check check for?
A DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check provides information about an individual’s criminal history, assisting employers in making safer recruitment decisions.
